When I first implemented RSS on my website, I had to write my own feed generator. I wrote my own parser too. I used RSS to update the main page from two sub-sites of the website. I didn’t know about RSS software at the time. I only knew about some Netscape RSS directory (do I have that right?). If I had to guess, this was would have been around 2000? The websites and feeds are still being hosted, but not updated. Anyway, I’ve been hooked on RSS since then. Congratulations to @brentsimmons for the new NetNewsWire release!
